Leadership

The brigade has several highly dedicated individuals who take on additional responsibility at the brigade as officers. These positions are critical to the front and back of the house operations.

Line officers take on the role of incident commander at emergency scenes, assignment of an apparatus, and assist with training. The chief engineer takes on the additional responsibility of the care and maintenance of the apparatus fleet.

Staff officers provide oversight of the operations of the Brigade.

Plant Engineer - Robert Wrobel
The plant engineer is responsible for the care and maintenance of the Brigade's facility.

WFPA is organized for the purpose of providing management, oversight, acquisition and accounting of the funding necessary for the fire departments in Woodstock, CT.
